| Have fun with facials! |
· 1 egg
· (optional) cucumber slices for the eyes
Beat the egg white until frothy. Apply onto your face. After 30 minutes rinse clean with warm water and then cold water. Pat your face with a soft towel and finish with a moisturizer to “seal” your skin.
Oatmeal and Yogurt Mask (for all types of skin)
· 1 tbsp of oatmeal, finely ground
· 1 tbsp of organic plain yogurt (skip the flavored stuff)
· A few drops of honey
· (optional) cucumber slices for the eyes
Mix together the yogurt and oatmeal in a small bowl. Add the honey into the mixture. Apply and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat your face dry with a soft towel.
Pumpkin Mask (for all skin types)
· 2 teaspoons of almond milk (for oily and dry skin)
· 1 teaspoon of honey (for dry skin)
· 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar or cranberry juice ( for oily skin)
· (optional) cucumber slices for the eyes
Purée the fresh pumpkin pulp for a thick paste, then add the eggs (this acts as a binder). If your skin is dry, stir in omega-rich almond milk and the honey. For an oilier complexion, stir in apple cider vinegar or cranberry juice. Mix well and apply, leave mask on for 15-20 minutes (depending on your skin sensitivity). Rinse with cool water and moisturize as usual.
What kind of home-remedies do you use?
