Rainbow bright trends!

One of the major trends that have been splattered in fashion magazines and blogs, on runways and in your local trendy stores, are colorful denim and pants. The super chic trend I didn’t think I’d love, but now I think I do…

Where were they first seen? In the Spring/Summer 2011 fashion shows such as Rachel Roy, Jil Sander and Marc Jacobs. Designers usually paired them with other bright color items or chose to bring it down a notch with more nude colored pieces.

How do we wear it? Neutral colors seem to complete bright jeans perfectly. Grey, black, brown and white are the number one hues matched with these pants. Glittery, shiny tops as well as neon colored tops are real a risk when it comes to pairing bright colored jeans. The buzzword is to keep it simple and stylish. Even though sparkles and shine are also in this season, pay attention to which color jeans to match it with, if you want to go that route pair the sparkles with blue or a rust. 

It is important to remember that you want to look modern and chic in your bright trousers and denim, not clownish and retro.
