We can’t all be lucky enough to attend fun music festivals like Coachella in California.  Thankfully, we can access tons of pictures to draw summer style inspiration from.  This year, Coachella took place on two weekends, which means double the festival fashion.  Some celebrities and fellow festival attendees can err on the side of too much — meaning too out there, too hippie, too funky.  However, some celebrities got it right and provide a great guide for those long, summer days!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a gorgeous supermodel, so of course everything looks great on her.  Models don’t always make the best fashion choices, but I think Rosie aced this Coachella look.  She channels her inner hippie with the shorts, which have great detail and fringe.  She then balances it out with a plain white button-up that looks airy and perfect for summer.  And for days that it’s not scorching hot, go for some booties like Rosie instead of your usual sandals.

Lily Collins is becoming a fashion star in Young Hollywood and she definitely did not disappoint at Coachella.  A printed, chiffon dress is perfect for summer.  It allows you to stay cool while still looking cute.  I’m also loving Lily’s flats — it’s impractical to wear heels every day and the pointed toe adds some edge to the girly dress, along with the studded purse.

Kate Bosworth always shines at Coachella and I particularly love this look.  From the studded jean shorts to the animal print top and the green earrings, Kate is right on trend and serves as great inspiration for the everyday girl who may be looking to experiment with some trends without going too crazy.  Make it a DIY project and add some studs to a pair of basic black shorts.  Also, invest in some neon jewelry if you’re unsure about the trend but want to give it a try!

Lea Michele and Lauren Conrad look like the quintessential California girls.  While Lea stuck with a simple white dress with wedges, Lauren got a little bit more creative with her festival style.  The shorts add some unexpected color and coordinate with the sunglasses.  Not wanting to be too loud, she paired the colorful shorts with a simple white top and strappy sandals.  Both of these looks can easily be recreated from any girl’s summer wardrobe.

Who do you think had the best style at Coachella?
