As we shed our winter layers and sizzle into summer, we trade away the burdensome bulk for that lighter brand new feeling (ahhh). Why wouldn’t you do the same with your makeup? Last time you looked in your makeup bag, it probably wasn’t looking too hot. From the makeup stains to years old makeup brushes, when is the last time you cleaned it out?
For the beauty cheat seekers like myself, sometimes it’s better off to start off your belated spring makeup cleaning with a fresh, clean slate. The generous folks at the Soho Professional Collection allowed me to try some of their latest products, so get the full scoop below and catch a glimpse of a possible giveaway (wink, wink!)

One of the biggest beauty commandments that any beauty lover should adhere to is blending. Made with goat hair bristles, perfectly blended blush is easier than ever. This brush is great for bronzers, shimmer powders and blushes and gives your cheeks some instant color with the compact dome shape.
When was the last time you changed your blush brush? Although we’d like to think brushes last forever and ever, bacteria and germs cling to the bristles, making you more vulnerable to breakouts and blemishes. Helping you distribute even color, the bristles go smooth on your face adding desired warmth and color to your cheeks.
Glow it up with Soho Beauty’s highlighter brush. It’s essential for liquid foundations or highlighting creams, and when it’s applied correctly, the shine and dimension it brings to your cheeks gives your cheekbones their very own halo.
Looking for a better way to achieve a clean cat eye? With Soho’s Angled Eyeliner Brush, you are able to channel your inner Audrey Hepburn. If you are a gel or liquid liner kind of gal, a short bristled brush like this one is a great choice for a controlled line. As one of the smaller brushes in the collection, this brush fits easily inside your makeup bag.
For all you powder and mineral veil lovers, this powder brush helps cover those hard to cover places like under your eyes and on your nose. Applying powder on top of makeup might be a tricky task, but you’ll be amazed on how this brush glides smoothly on top makeup — even for you supreme “cakers,” like yours truly.
What’s spring cleaning without a brand new makeup bag? Nicely sized for all your brand new Soho brushes, this plastic-yet-stylish bag is easy to clean and doesn’t take up a lot of space inside your purse (double score!).

I Liked and followed! As bad as it is to say the last time I bought my brushes was 2008! I try and keep them as clean as possible but definitely need to change them. These brushes are gorgeous and definitely necessary!

I desperately need new brushes. I am still using the same brushes that came with my bare minerals kit when I was a senior in high school (2007)….woah they need to go! The kabuki brush looks perfect! Liked and followed and even tweeted

I am in absolute DIRE need of new brushes! You have No Idea! After my Bed Head brushes (awful) fell to shambles about 3 yrs ago, my boyfriends mum gave me her second hand Mary Kay brushes and they’re SO old! It wasn’t a full set so I’m stuck putting on makeup haphazardly with my fingers or qtips most of the time. I just haven’t been able to get my hands on new brushes! …And trust me my skin is paying for it. I’m pretty sure if I wash these baby’s one more time they will completely disassemble… Please help me out! I hate applying my eyeshadow with my pinky finger or a qtip and having brissels fall out on my skin when applying mineral powder and blush ( same brush!) my skin is begging for new brushes! Pretty please!Help me!
Yours truly,
Ashley’s skin

My makeup brushes are literally falling apart. When I apply my loose foundation power you can see the bristles from my brushes coming out (disgusting). I’m a mess right now without the proper tools to give myself the perfect smoking eye. I’m using my eyeshadow brush for my cheeks. A girl needs a little help!
