Dead dry skin cells clog the razor and don’t allow the razor to glide over the skin, thus increasing nicks, bumps and rashes. Try these prior to reaching for the razor to achieve a smooth silky shave: Jan Marini exfoliating body wash, Glytone creamy wash, or any salt or sugar scrub like Philosophy Lemonade Scrub. Body washes free of SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) will keep skin from being dehydrated and give the best result.

Soften and Hydrate

Ensure you are in the shower with steam for at least 3-5 minutes prior to shaving. This will allow the hairs to soften and the razor to get a clean, close shave. Hydrate with a shaving cream prior. Change Your Razors Often
