Anna Karenina is a timeless love story adapted from Leo Tolstoy’s great novel that takes place in 1874 in imperial Russia. Anna Karenina (Keira Knightly) is the wife of Karenin (Jude Law), a high-ranking government official to whom she has borne a son. She takes a trip to Moscow after receiving a letter from her brother Oblonsky (Matthew Macfadyen) to help him save his marriage. During her time traveling, she meets Countess Vronsky (Olivia Williams), who has a very handsome son, officer Vronsky (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). After she meets officer Vronsky, there is a spark so intense that it can’t be ignored.

Even after Anna returns home, Vronsky follows her. Although she tried, she is unable to return to her familiar routine because she is completely consumed by thoughts of Vronsky. An affair soon begins, and it created a huge scandal in the St. Petersburg society. Karenin is forced to give his wife an ultimatum, and her life, as well as the lives around her, dramatically change.

The film will be released in select cities on November 16 and everywhere on November 30.
